Israel Galvan - CEO

Israel Galvan – CEO

Mr. Israel Galvan, CEO of GHG Corporation, was born in Port Isabel, TX and is a product of the Port Isabel Public School System, The United States Navy , University of Houston, University of Texas and started his career with IBM Corporation.

Mr. Galvan is an Electrical Engineer by profession and temperament and has a diverse work experience: electro-magnetic compatibility, control systems, digital computer design and development, math modeling and simulation, SCADA systems, and software development.

Mr. Galvan moved to Houston and worked as a consultant with a variety of manufacturing firms which led inevitably to the founding of GHG Corporation in February of 1979.

Mr. Galvan is the recipient of many awards and honors and remains active in many professional and volunteer organizations. He is the proud father of daughter, Vita Elena, grandfather of Marvel Jem and Hope Auden and resides in League City with his wife, Marsha.



Joseph WillhelmJoseph Willhelm – President

Mr. Joseph Willhelm, President of GHG Corporation, was  previously the Engineering Manager for GHG where he managed several contracts supporting NASA (Safety and Mission Assurance, Orion, and the Stennis Test Operations Contract) and the National Science Foundation (Antarctica Support Contract).  Mr. Willhelm is a retired US Navy officer having spent most of his career in naval engineering including operations, maintenance, and repair.

Mr. Willhelm lives in Dickinson, Texas on lands that his family has held for 75 years.  Since 2008 he has been a member of the Galveston Historical Foundation’s Board of Directors, having served as President of the Board for 2011-2012.  Mr. Willhelm is a volunteer and help sail the Elissa, a three masted barque and the official Tall Ship of Texas since 1998.
