HIGH EAGLE'S NEST

This book was born out of requests and the need to give a fresh, new perspective of life combined with the basic elements of native philosophy and traditional expression of spiritual truths.

The poetic style of these writings are more in line with traditional American Indian thought and phraseology. Universal in meaning, simple in construction, they reflect one person's wisdom and beliefs, and can be used by anyone as a comforter or guide.

The basic philosophies of American Indians and other's beliefs of the world are congruent, as they should be, when it comes to their belief in the universality of spiritual truths. Hence, in every deserving sense of the word, it is not incorrect to consider traditional native indigenous peoples as "sacred" rather than "savages" in their manner and attitudes towards life, even though many may not be card-carrying members of a specific church or faith.

Although these wisdoms have been grouped or categorized under selected, specific topics, they are not restricted to any particular culture or philosophy. They can bee enjoyed whatever the occasion, individually or in a group discussion.
