To have respect for things is not easy.
Most people have lost the real sense of
living in the world;
lost living in nature.
When humans view themselves as the
superior inhabitants of Mother Earth,
the right of all life on this planet
to flourish
is seldom respected.

To achieve a balance and oneness with
the Spirit-of-life
and its many forms on Mother Earth,
one treats the environment,
each other and other people
with respect,
as each thing
and each individual
has a role
to fulfill while travelling here.

Respect is basic to spiritual principles--
The spiritual way is to show respect
to such things as are held sacred by others.

One must respect every individual's beliefs,
respect worship of the Creator by others
in whatever form or system they employ.

Every man and woman should treat with respect
all such things as are sacred to other people,
whether he or she comprehends them or not.

Respect
is one word that s spiritually conscious person
must carry in one's heart,
even for the differences found in life.

To know true harmony and balance,
one is called to respect differences.
Because another's way is different
does not mean something less than good.

If one cannot respect difference,
then one must learn how to begin to do so,
to cope with and value others better.

One can relearn to trust,
to show respect and
be confident with one's own decisions,
based upon ancient Truths,
thereby eliminating the conflict within oneself
over false values or
those that have been forced upon us.

Without the seeds of respect,
life cannot flourish,
love cannot grow,
cannot survive.

One's duty is to realize
one's own boundless creative capacities,
to achieve a new found respect
for the ways of others
and other things,
even if they are
not comprehended.

Sometimes,
egos can exploit and
desire to monopolize others,
other things and
situations in the face of
seized opportunity,
rather than coming from the
face of care and respect.
Respect--the harness that
tames one's
ego.

To revere life,
is to know that
when another person is met,
the association and encounter
is with another child
of the same Great Spirit's making.
Therefore,
the divinity within that person
must be respected.

Crime is a lack of respect.
Crime in the streets is
a form of pollution,
no different than the pollution
which invades the land,
water and the air we breathe.
Both emanate from a lack of respect,
a lack of understanding
and reasonableness,
and a belief in taking advantage of situations,
of reaping the short-term, personal profits
regardless of the long-term consequences.
To stop crime,
to stop pollution,
is to start to respect.
