FDOC employee, Roy Hamilton, was recently presented with NASA’s Silver Snoopy award. The Silver Snoopy is one of NASA’s most prestigious awards and is presented to less than one percent of the NASA workforce annually. The Silver Snoopy is presented to individuals for outstanding contributions to mission safety and success. Roy was recognized for outstanding software support during the successful investigation and resolution of reliability problems with the aging Digital Voice Intercommunication Subsystem DVIS. Roy played a key role during the upgrades that restored confidence that DVIS will be able to effectively support mission operations until its replacement is certified.
