WEBSTER, Texas —June 30, 2026

GHG Corporation (GHG), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with a 40-year history of supporting government and commercial customers, announced that Dwayne Busby has joined the company as President of Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Relations. This newly created role is focused on expanding GHG’s strategic relationships across industry and the communities where it operates.

In this position, Busby’s fundamental purpose is to elevate the visibility and institutional reputation of GHG. Working hand-in-hand with the GHG leadership team, he will help bridge the gap between corporate capabilities and related opportunities—supporting a disciplined, mission-focused approach that reflects the company’s culture of precision, reliability, accountability, and customer service.

Busby will also work to position GHG as a collaborative partner—helping create a unified industry front that turns potential competition into strategic alliances. For GHG customers, this approach is intended to increase access to shared expertise and broader technical capabilities, while reinforcing the trust that is essential in highly regulated, mission-critical environments supporting NASA and other federal agencies.

For Busby, taking on this leadership role is a true homecoming.

"I grew up right here in the Clear Lake/Webster area, attended CCISD schools, and graduated from Clear Brook High School, which shares the same street as GHG," Busby shared. "Coming back to my stomping grounds to work for GHG is an absolute honor and a blessing. We have an incredibly bright future ahead as an SDVOSB, and I can't wait to see it come into fruition."

Busby prides himself on being a professional relationship builder, a skill he honed while leading advancement efforts for Clark University, Trinity College (where he served as Associate VP of Advancement), the University of Houston, UHCL, and his alma mater, Wesleyan University. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Government Affairs at Wellby Financial.

"My passion has always been connecting the right people with the right people for the right purpose," said Busby. "At GHG, we want to position ourselves as a collaborative partner, helping create a unified industry front that turns potential competition into strategic alliances. Building these deep connections will increase our clients' access to shared expertise and broader technical capabilities in mission-critical environments supporting NASA and other federal agencies."

Active in regional civic leadership, Busby served as Board Chair of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce and supports the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, BAHEP, and the Greater Houston Partnership. He lives in the area with his wife Gabrielle and their two children.
