FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WEBSTER, Texas, June 2026 — GrayHawk Global Corporation (GHG) announced today that it will support KBR as a key subcontractor on the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract, a long-term award under which GHG will provide planning, management, operations, logistics, technical, infrastructure, and science support for the U.S. Antarctic Program.
Under the contract, KBR will provide comprehensive support for the U.S. Antarctic Program, which enables scientific research at McMurdo Station, Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Palmer Station, and remote field camps across Antarctica.
“GHG has decades of experience in the Antarctic, from information technology and communications to operational support. We help sustain safe, reliable, and resilient operations in one of the world’s most challenging environments,” said COO Linda Anderson.
The Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract is valued at up to $8 billion and may extend for up to 20 years. The award establishes a framework for continued support of U.S. Antarctic science and operations, including the modernization and maintenance of critical infrastructure, research support, transportation, communications, safety, environmental stewardship, and year-round station operations.
“As a long-standing partner supporting Antarctic operations, GHG Corporation is proud to join KBR in advancing the National Science Foundation’s mission in Antarctica. Together, we will help provide the technology, communications, and operational capabilities necessary to sustain scientific discovery in one of the most remote and challenging environments on Earth,” said August Stoten, ASESC Information Technology and Communications Program Manager at GHG Corporation.
GHG Corporation’s support will build on more than two decades of Antarctic support experience and a proven commitment to delivering innovative, reliable, and mission-focused solutions. Working alongside KBR, NSF, and the broader Antarctic community, GHG will help enable the next generation of scientific discovery, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence across Antarctica.
